With emotions running high and energy low, trying to do it alone is very stressful. There is a psychological aspect of attachment when dealing with a loved one's belongings after they have passed. An estate professional doesn't have that attachment and it is our job to know how much things are worth. By hiring a professional, you are able to maximize your profits while minimizing your involvement. When dealing with a loss, divorce or move, our services can be priceless.
WHAT DOES AN ESTATE LIQUIDATOR DO
An estate liquidator evaluates a home's contents, professionally appraises the items, takes photos, sorts the items for staging, prices the items for maximum profit and holds the sale.
DOES YOUR COMPANY ONLY DO ESTATE SALES
No. We also provide our services for those that are downsizing, getting divorced, moving, etc..
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE LIQUIDATION PROCESS
Assessment: We begin by assessing all items. After inventory is taken, we will consult with you and a contract is made.
Pricing and Staging: All items of value are priced with easily visible tags. After all items are priced, everything is staged in a professional manner that allows optimum accessibility.
Marketing and Selling: We will advertise the sale several days beforehand using media such as Estatesales.net, Facebook and other websites dedicated to listing sales by area. The sale is typically held over the course of 2-3 days factoring in buyer interest and inventory. Our team is present at every sale to assist buyers and process all transactions.
Cleanup and Payment: After the sale is closed, any leftover merchandise is again inventoried and either disposed of or donated at our discretion. All items are removed from the house to prepare for the open market. The percentage agreed upon in the contract is deducted from the profits to pay the sales team and the remainder is given to you.

Owner Mechele Jacobsen was born and raised right here in Amarillo, Tx. She decided to form Midnight Angel Estate Liquidators following the untimely death of her young son. Understanding the stress and pain the loss of a loved one brings, she vowed to help others along their journey.
Mechele believes family is most important in one's life. It is the place your journey begins and ends.
HOW WE CAME TO BE
One early morning while having coffee at the dining table, I was having a difficult time coming up with a name for my company. I wanted a name that would honor my son. I began praying and spoke to my son asking him for help. After a few minutes, Midnight Angel came to me clear as a bell. I knew this name would be the best way to honor my son who became an angel at midnight the night he passed. Midnight Angel is for you son. I miss you and will love you always.
